How it works

From first call to actionable data in five steps

A proven, repeatable workflow built on DroneDeploy automation and Part 107-compliant operations. Most sites go from flight to final deliverable within 48 hours.

STEP 01

Site Assessment

We review your site, goals, and airspace, then scope deliverables and cadence — one flight or a recurring program.

STEP 02

Flight Planning

Automated DroneDeploy missions are built for your site: altitude, overlap, and ground control tuned for accuracy.

STEP 03

Data Capture

A certified pilot flies the mission — typically minutes, not days — with zero disruption to your operation.

STEP 04

Processing & Analysis

Imagery becomes orthomosaics, surfaces, and volumes. Every measurement is QA-checked before it ships.

STEP 05

Deliverables & Insights

Reports, maps, and models land in your inbox and your systems — with trends flagged on recurring programs.

Accuracy you can defend

Repeatability is the whole point

Anyone can fly a drone over a pile. Producing volumes that match flight-over-flight — and stand up to an auditor — takes controlled missions, consistent ground reference, and disciplined processing.

That's why every Take Flight 360 program uses the same automated flight plan, the same processing pipeline, and the same QA checks every single time. When your numbers move, it's because your material moved.

Common questions

Answers before you have to ask

How accurate are the volume measurements?
With controlled flight parameters and consistent ground reference, photogrammetric volumes are typically within 1–2% of traditional survey methods — and critically, they're repeatable, so flight-over-flight change reflects real material movement. We'll share our methodology and accuracy documentation during scoping so your engineers can verify it.
Will flights disrupt our operation?
No. A typical yard or site is captured in 10–30 minutes from launch to landing, flown from a safe standoff position. Loaders keep loading, trucks keep hauling, and nobody climbs a pile. For active airspace or sensitive facilities, we handle FAA authorizations in advance.
What do you need from us?
Site access, a point of contact, and your material density factors if you want tonnage conversions. That's it. For recurring inventory programs, we'll align the flight schedule to your reconciliation calendar so data lands when finance needs it.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — all flights are conducted by FAA Part 107 certificated pilots under insured UAS operations, with airspace authorization managed per mission. We're happy to provide certificates of insurance and credentials before any work begins.
How fast do we get deliverables?
Most sites go from flight to final deliverable within 48 hours. Standing programs are faster because the flight plan, processing pipeline, and report templates are already built for your site.
What does it cost?
It depends on site size, deliverables, and cadence — but a recurring drone program typically costs a fraction of crew-based surveying, and far less than the inventory write-offs it prevents. Send us your site and we'll quote it within one business day.
